Custom Sewing
Hi, I’m Erin Retelle. I have been a member of the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals since 2010. I travel annually (or these days, virtually) to the organization’s educational conference where I continue to expand my sewing and design skill set, improve my teaching techniques, and share my work. I regularly compete in the annual Threads Challenge, a themed competition for ASDP’s members hosted by Threads Magazine. In 2019, my dress was chosen as a finalist and won the award for ‘best color and shape shift’ in the ‘Transformation Challenge’.

Our answer is always, “It depends” Come have a talk with us and bring as much information as you have with you (photos, ideas, drawings, existing garments or items, specifications, deadline) and we’ll do our utmost to help you formulate a plan that fits your desires and your budget.
Custom Patterns for Those Who Sew
Butterick not working out style or fit-wise? We can draft custom patterns or pattern pieces for you.
- Moulage Set (basic upper body sloper for zero-ease, blouse/bodice and jacket) $250
- Basic Sleeve to fit Moulage armhole $60
- Pant Sloper (with basic pockets and waistband) $250
If you need a particular pattern drafted (i.e. a pattern for a dress you have a photograph of, a jacket with a certain lapel-shape), we can handle that! Prices start at $60 and increase with garment complexity, number of pattern pieces, and our level of involvement post-drafting (We can make up and fit the muslin for you, if you like.).
Likewise, if you’d like an existing garment copied (without us taking it apart), we’re up to the task.
